Our Reflection In This Course
From the rise of integrated technologies, the proliferation of data has brought informations systems to the forefront of business. In this course, we learned foundational knowledge on how information systems support businesses. We were also challenged to improve our skills in real-world technology such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Finally, we were also able to grow personally by being exposed to these new ideas, and by challenging our way of thinking to provide a new perspective going forward.

Practical Skills
We expanded our knowledge on Microsoft Excel. Using Excel, we were able to learn how to provide decision support in a realistic scenario. Excel being the leading software in the business world, this skill is invaluable to any prospective business career.
We were introduced to the Power BI Dashboard and how to use this tool to manipulate visual data. Power BI can be used not only to provide data visualization, but to organize the data by key metrics in order to display insights for decision-making.
Personal Impact
Many times in this course, we were faced with challenging concepts. We learned about real-world cases of companies innovating new technologies into their business model. Some of these cases showed that innovation is not always a seamless transition. There are many initial drawbacks and obstacles to integrating new systems. And yet, time and time again, the trailblazers and innovators are the ones that come out on top. It's important to remember that every company was once just an idea, and it's even more important to take those ideas out into the real world.
